ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Kuwait’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah to discuss the evolving regional situation and its broader implications, the Foreign Office said on Saturday.
During the call, both leaders exchanged views on recent developments in the region, including their potential economic impact.
Dar highlighted Pakistan’s commitment to promoting dialogue and constructive engagement, stressing the importance of diplomacy in ensuring peace and stability at both regional and global levels.
The Kuwaiti foreign minister appreciated Pakistan’s efforts aimed at fostering long-term peace and security, not only for the Muslim world but also for the wider international community.
The two sides reaffirmed the strong fraternal relations between Pakistan and Kuwait and agreed to maintain close coordination in the coming days.
