Pakistan showcases security tech at world's largest safety exhibition

ISLAMABAD: Six Pakistani companies are displaying security products at Intersec 2026, the Consulate General of Pakistan in Dubai reported Monday.

According to a press release, the exhibition features Pakistan's safety technology sector, showcasing products to 50,000 global buyers at Dubai's leading industry event.

The 27th edition of Intersec opened on Jan. 12 and runs will Jan. 14. Intersec is the world's largest business exhibition for security, safety, and fire protection.

The event features 1,400 exhibitors from over 60 countries. Organizers expect over 50,000 trade visitors, the consulate said.

The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan organized the country's participation.

The Consul General of Pakistan in Dubai, Hussain Muhammad, inaugurated the Pakistan Pavilion. He was joined by Trade and Investment Counsellor, Ali Zeb Khan.

Pakistani exhibitors noted the event's importance for expanding exports to markets such as the United Arab Emirates and the Gulf Cooperation Council.

"Pakistan's participation in global exhibitions like Intersec underscores the country's commitment to strengthening trade ties and showcasing its industrial and technological capabilities in the safety sector," the Consul General said.

The event allows Pakistani companies to explore international markets and establish business connections, he said.

Intersec is the world's leading international exhibition for security, safety, and fire protection, bringing together manufacturers, suppliers, innovators, and buyers annually in Dubai to showcase cutting-edge technology, share knowledge, and discuss future challenges in these critical sectors.
