ISLAMABAD: Qatar announced on Thursday that a full agreement between Israel and Hamas has been reached regarding the "first phase of the Gaza ceasefire agreement."
"The mediators announce that tonight an agreement was reached on all the provisions and implementation mechanisms of the first phase of the Gaza ceasefire agreement, which will lead to ending the war, the release of Israeli hostages and Palestinian prisoners, and the entry of aid."
Dr Majed bin Mohammed Al Ansari, Advisor to the Prime Minister and Official Spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, said in a social media post, as reported by the state-run Qatar News Agency.
"The details will be announced later," the Advisor to the Prime Minister and Official Spokesperson for the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs added.
