ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on Monday chaired a high-level meeting to review the auto and auto parts policy, with special emphasis on accelerating Pakistan&rsquo;s transition toward electric vehicles, said a statement on Monday. To ensure a comprehensive and consultative policy framework, the statement said the deputy prime minister directed the formation of a subcommittee to conduct a detailed review, in consultation with all relevant stakeholders, and to finalize the draft policy. Ministers, senior government officials, policy experts, and economists attended the meeting.
