Kenscoff, a mountainous municipality southeast of the Haitian capital, has for several months been the scene of clashes and incursions by armed groups seeking to expand their control.
Haitian authorities say dozens died in a stampede at the historic Citadelle Henri, with many young visitors involved, as rescue teams search for missing and treat injured.
