Multiple layers of barricades were erected around Jantar Mantar in Delhi and adjoining roads, while vehicles were checked at key entry and exit points across the city. Senior police officers were assigned field duties and reserve forces remained on standby, according to Indian media. Security was tightened at major transport hubs, including the airport, railway stations, interstate bus terminals and border points. Traffic diversions were planned in parts of central Delhi, though metro services continued normally.
