ISLAMABAD: India's Cockroach Janta Party will assemble for a peaceful protest demanding the resignation of the education minister Dharmendra Pradhan at Amritsar Gate on Saturday.
In a post on X, the "cockroach party" called on supporters to attend the protest and send what they described as a "strong message" to the minister.
After two successful peaceful protests in Delhi and Pune, the cockroach party has planned further protest in Amritsar city.
The party held its first major street protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi, calling for Pradhan's resignation over major exam irregularities, including question paper leaks and technical glitches.
Within weeks, the movement has amassed more than 22 million followers on Instagram, making it one of the most prominent youth-driven online campaigns in India.
