ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Bangladesh’s Foreign Adviser Md Touhid Hossain on Sunday, according to a statement issued by Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The two officials reviewed Pakistan-Bangladesh bilateral relations, focusing on trade and economic cooperation, and reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening collaboration across multiple sectors.

They also exchanged views on current regional and international developments and emphasized the importance of sustained engagement to advance shared interests and promote regional peace and prosperity, the statement said.
