ATHENS: Several hundred people rallied outside the Greek Parliament on Saturday to denounce Israel’s actions in Gaza and demand that the Greek government cut ties with Tel Aviv.
Demonstrators waved Palestinian flags, chanted slogans, such as “Freedom to Palestine”, and held banners reading “No to the genocide.”
One protester said Greece should end all military, trade and cultural cooperation with Israel, while a student spoke of solidarity with Palestinian peers whose schools have been bombed.
