ISLAMABAD: Security forces killed five terrorists affiliated with Fitna al-Hindustan during a successful intelligence-led operation in Balochistan's Panjgur district as part of Operation Rad-ul-Fitna 3, security sources said Thursday.

The operation was carried out in Kali Soran, Panjgur, after intelligence reports indicated the presence of militants planning a major terrorist attack in the area.

Sources said, “The slain terrorists were travelling on motorcycles and were intercepted before they could execute their planned attack.”

“The militants were successfully targeted using modern surveillance technology and advanced weapons during the operation,” added the sources.

Several other terrorists were also injured during the action, according to security sources.

Sources revealed that a large cache of modern weapons and ammunition was recovered from the killed terrorists.

Security forces also seized three vehicles, two motorcycles, an improvised explosive device, and the flag of the banned terrorist organization during the operation.

Security sources described the recovered material as evidence of the group's operational capabilities and planned activities.

According to security sources, the killed terrorists were involved in planning and carrying out a range of terrorist activities, including looting, extortion, kidnapping for ransom, target killings, and suicide attacks against residents in Balochistan.

The operation is part of ongoing efforts to dismantle terrorist networks operating in the province.

Sources reiterated that Pakistan's security forces remain determined to eliminate terrorism from Balochistan. They said Operation Rad-ul-Fitna 3 will continue until the last terrorist is eliminated and militant networks are completely dismantled.
