Security forces kill four more terrorists as Operation Shaban total reaches 83

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan's security forces have killed four more terrorists during ongoing Operation Shaban in Balochistan, raising the total number eliminated in the operation to 83, while 121 terrorists have been killed in Operation Shaban and other intelligence-based operations across the province since July 5, according to security sources.

Security sources said the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan and Balochistan Police continued joint ground and aerial operations against what Pakistan officially refers to as Fitna al-Khawarij.

According to the sources, security forces are carrying out coordinated ground and air operations across the area, inflicting what they described as heavy losses on the terrorist group.

Security sources said four additional terrorists were confirmed killed during the latest operations, taking the total number of terrorists eliminated under Operation Shaban to 83.

They added that 121 terrorists have been killed in Operation Shaban and other intelligence-based operations conducted across Balochistan since July 5.

Security sources said the operation would continue until the last terrorist is eliminated.
