LONDON: World oil prices surged more than five percent on Wednesday as the Middle East war disrupted crude exports.
The international benchmark, Brent North Sea crude, jumped 5.1 percent to $92.23 per barrel.
The main US contract, West Texas Intermediate, soared 5.9 percent to $88.38 per barrel.
