ISLAMABAD: Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar arrived in Amman to attend the Ministerial Meeting on Jerusalem convened by Jordan, the Foreign Office said in a post on X on Wednesday.
Dar was received by the Director of the Human Rights Directorate at Jordan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Saja Almajali. Pakistan’s Ambassador to Jordan, Major General (Retd.) Khurram Sarfraz Khan, and officials from the Pakistani Embassy were also present.
According to the statement, the meeting will focus on developments in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including the situation in Jerusalem, along with broader regional issues.
During his visit, Dar is scheduled to participate in the ministerial session, meet Jordan’s King Abdullah II, and hold discussions with other foreign ministers.
