ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Pavilion was officially inaugurated today, Wednesday, at the Singapore FinTech Festival (SFF) 2025 by Deputy High Commissioner and Charge d’Affaires Salman Mehmood, according to a statement issued by the Press Information Department (PID).
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mehmood praised the participation of Pakistani fintech companies and urged them to capitalize on the global platform to forge international partnerships, attract investment, and showcase Pakistan’s rapidly advancing technological capabilities.
“Our fintech sector reflects Pakistan’s dynamic innovation and resilience,” Mehmood said. “This festival offers an excellent opportunity to strengthen our engagement with international partners and highlight Pakistan’s growing role in the global digital economy.”

The PID statement said a delegation of six leading Pakistani fintech companies is representing the country at this year’s festival, underscoring Pakistan’s emergence as a key player in the global fintech landscape.
Their presence reflects Islamabad’s commitment to deepening cooperation with Singapore’s vibrant fintech ecosystem.
Running from November 12 to 14, 2025, the Singapore FinTech Festival is one of the world’s largest gatherings of financial technology leaders, innovators, investors, and regulators.
This year’s edition features over 600 exhibitors and 41 international pavilions, offering a platform to explore cutting-edge developments in digital finance and emerging technologies.
The statement added that the event continues to serve as a hub for meaningful collaboration and dialogue on the future of finance at the intersection of innovation, regulation, and technology.
