ISLAMABAD: Nigerian content creator Kayode Pelumi-Ridwan has praised Pakistan’s hospitality, cultural diversity, and welcoming society, saying the country played a major role in shaping his rise as a social media personality.
In an exclusive interview with PakistanTV, Lumi said Pakistan deserves greater global recognition for its warmth, vibrant traditions, and strong sense of community, adding that his experience in the country challenged many misconceptions often seen online.
“Social media is the new cool,” Lumi said, describing digital platforms as powerful tools that are transforming communication, entertainment, and public engagement worldwide.
Known for speaking Urdu, Punjabi, and Pashto, Lumi said connecting with people through language helped him build strong engagement with audiences across Pakistan. He added that cultural similarities between Pakistan and Nigeria inspired him to create content focused on positivity and cross-cultural understanding.
The interview also highlighted Pakistan’s growing soft power appeal, with international creators increasingly using digital platforms to showcase the country’s cultural richness, linguistic diversity, and hospitality to audiences around the world.
