ISLAMABAD: In an intelligence-based operation, a highly wanted terrorist leader, Khariji Umar alias Jan Mir alias Tor Saqib, along with four other terrorists, was killed, according to security sources. They stated that a bounty of three million rupees had been placed on the head of the <a href="https://www.pakistantv.com/article/pakistan-forces-kill-23-terrorists-in-sanitization-operation-in-north-waziristan" style="color:#0073e6;">terrorist</a> leader Umar alias Jan Mir alias Saqib Tor. According to security sources, the slain leader of &ldquo;<a href="https://www.pakistantv.com/article/three-indianbacked-militants-killed-in-southwest-balochistan-province-pakistan-army" style="color:#0073e6;">Fitna al-Khawarij</a>&rdquo; was the mastermind behind numerous terrorist attacks on security forces and civilians. They said said that Umar alias Saqib Tor had constructed underground bunkers, tunnels, and explosive traps in the area around Bobali Mosque in Spinwam. The security forces, through a coordinated strategy, surrounded the terrorists and eliminated them.
