ISLAMABAD: Afghan Taliban regime Information and Culture Director of Badakhshan, Zabihullah Amiri, was killed in an attack by armed motorcyclists on the Faizabad-Baharak road in the Baharak district, northeastern province of Badakhshan, police spokesman Ihsanullah Kamgar confirmed to Afghan media on Tuesday.
He said that the incident occurred this morning while Amiri was traveling to work on the Baharak-Faizabad road, where he was attacked by two men on a motorcycle.
So far, there is no official confirmation from the Taliban authorities.
