ISLAMABAD: Lebanese Interior Minister Ahmad Al-Hajjar arrived in Islamabad on Monday for a two-day official visit to Pakistan at the invitation of Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.
According to the Associated Press of Pakistan, Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry received Al-Hajjar at Islamabad International Airport, where Pakistani officials formally welcomed the Lebanese minister.
Later, Chaudhry, the Islamabad Chief Commissioner and the Islamabad Inspector General of Police, along with other senior officials, attended a reception in his honor.
Al-Hajjar's visit includes meetings with members of the Pakistani leadership and discussions between officials from the two countries.
The talks will cover matters of mutual interest, focusing on strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation between Pakistan and Lebanon.
The visit will also include discussions on further developing relations and promoting cooperation in different sectors between the two countries.
